Here's a close-up of the package versus the actual pudding. It is indeed a scary color of green, and tasted far more like almonds than pistachios. It wasn't bad, and I added some Trader Joe's pistachios of my own to the little dish. I have to say, though, I really like the font they used for the flavor "Pistachio".

Funny, I am also investigating the sugar-free Jello puddings (white chocolate!). I've been avoiding the pistachio that's been sitting in the drawer for weeks now, so I'll take your post as encouragement.

Enjoying your blog generally; I'm amazed that you're able to photograph your cooking so extensively.

Awww! I wish they offered white chocolate at the Stop&Shop by me. Now I'm on a mission. Thanks, Renz.

It's easier to take the photos when John's cooking with me. I just try to remember to take pictures when I can now. We keep the camera within easy reach in the kitchen.
