University Radiology just phoned to say my results were benign. YAY!
Thanks to everyone who sent positive energy out into the universe, prayed, and sent their support. I really appreciate it.

I stumbled across your blog today as my sister and I were googling stereotactic breast biopsy. I just had the procedure yesterday and was curious to see if we could find what to expect for the next couple of days. And your blog came up, which was great to share w/ my sister - esp. since you had pictures to help you explain the procedure.
I also had so much kindness and gentleness showered upon me by the doctor, radiologist and nurse. The environment was very caring, even if the procedure was just plain strange.
Congratulations on your good test results. We don't expect to hear mine until Friday or Monday. I know you must be very relieved - I'm happy for you!
And thank you for sharing your experience...
Hello Creative Carryout!
I wish for you the very best of news as well. It's gratifying to know that the information here was of help to you and your sister. And, I completely agree, the procedure was strange!
Since I'm a few days ahead, I can tell you what's happened since, and I will post about that next. Today in fact. Thanks again for visiting, and I'm really looking forward to hearing your results.
Hi I am so grateful to have found this website. I don't know if anyone is looking at it these days but I'm going to try to reach someone. Especially the one who took their time to describe the procedure so well. What a blessing and the part about not taking Alieve was unbelievable. I had serious pain in my legs about a year ago and I was thinking of using my pain pills from that adventure if the pain of this procedure was overwhelming. I could have killed my self because they are actually a stronger version of alieve (at least double the strength). Thank you so much.
I will be getting my procedure done on September 27, 2010 and it was really good to discover that this procedure has been out a while, too! Most of my questions have been answered so I thank all of you who have commented about your procedures and your results. This website has been absolutely unbelievable answer to prayer and I'm not through reading it yet. My email is Peaceblt@yahoo.com if anyone cares to contact me. Just call me Peace, for now. I'll be returning with a comment or more as time goes on. I haven't had the procedure or results yet so I'm just beginning the journey. Hopefully all of you are receiving good and better news as I certainly hope I will be receiving too. I'm looking for Test results saying "Benign". Your posts have eased much of my anxieties and uncertainties. I feel well informed and ready for the journey.
Peace
Dear Peace,
Please keep in touch. Will keep you in my prayers.
Thanks for all your comments. It seems like recently, more and more women have come to my blog looking for answers about this procedure. You might want to suggest it to your health care professionals, because some nurses actually recommend it to their patients.
