I wish I could say otherwise, but it was a disappointment. Because it was an expensive show, John and I thought about it as an opportunity to help the local economy. We did receive a couple of free compact fluorescent bulbs for our trouble, though.
I also wish I'd known that 99% of the exhibits weren't actual exhibits, but vendor displays. They were lovely displays, but vendor displays nonetheless.

The one actual display was a wall of award-winning orchids. Some of them were quite stunning. However, on any given day during the cold months, I can see equally, if not more beautiful (and fragrant in some cases) orchids at Mom's and Dave's house.

The best part was the drive home when we stumbled on a really good deal on some Polish pottery. I'll be showcasing it here soon.
